RICHARD W. JOHNSTON
Richard Johnston graduated from Smoky Hill High School, the University of Denver, and Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College.
In 1990 he was admitted to practice law in Colorado and has represented community associations for over 20 years. Rich has been a speaker for several continuing legal education seminars and numerous events for the Community Association Institute (“CAI”). He served on the Board of Directors and is a former President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of CAI. Rich continues to serve the Rocky Mountain Chapter as a Co-Chair of the Attorneys Committee.
Rich was born and raised in the Denver Metro area and has been married for 25 years. He has a daughter attending the University of Wyoming, and a daughter at Cherry Creek High School.
In all but the coldest weather he likes to fly-fish for wild trout and enjoys skiing the backcountry when the snow will allow and downhill until then. Rich rides a bicycle year round. He has done the Elephant Rock, the Colorado Bicycle Tour, the Colorado Rocky Mountain Bicycle Tour, and a couple of Triple Bypass rides.
